Hälssen & Lyon, the German tea company created an innovative design to advertise their product without adhering to the ubiquitous paper calendar marketing scheme. Their calendar is created from processed, compressed tea leaves. The leaves are sliced in to thin squares, stamped with a date, and hung in a straight row. With each passing day, a tea page can be peeled off of the calendar and dropped in to a mug of hot water, becoming a tasty brew (via).
This is nicely done. Via Sanam.

As the speaker is cycled through various frequencies the sand naturally gravitates to the area where the least amount of vibration occurs causing fascinating geometric patterns to emerge. There’s actually a mathematical law that determines how each shape will form, the higher the frequency the more complex the pattern.
